How are British values used in early years?

The “Fundamental British Values” are:

• Democracy,
• Rule of law,
• Individual liberty,
• Mutual Respect
• Tolerance including different faiths and beliefs

 

British Values within a Nursery setting include encouraging making decisions together, following setting rules and boundaries, being kind to others, respecting that others have opinions different to ours, celebrating all cultures and ways of life.
