Nursery children have been exploring the 7 areas of learning:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development - The children spoke about their transition to new schools and new rooms in September. Also, due to the hot weather the children managed their own comfort by cooling off.

• Physical Development- Gross motor using large muscle movement pretending to be butterflies and moving the large tyre.

Fine motor using utensils in mark making and playdough.

• Communicate & Language - Start a conversation with adults and their friends during different activities.

• Mathematics – Matching and recognising numbers with objects.

• Expressive Arts and Design – Creating with materials such as sand, paint, natural  resources.

• Understanding the World - Life cycle of a caterpillar, the caterpillars have now grown into butterflies. The children realising the butterflies into the world.

• Literacy - Exploring the book The Hungry Caterpillar, using props and fancy dress.
