Nursery children have been exploring all 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stages:
Communicate & Language - Exploring the words in story books and reading to friends.
Physical Development - Fine motor - Using scissors correctly to cut shapes and patterns and making rainbow sticks by wrapping coloured wool very carefully around a lollipop stick.
Personal, Social & Emotional Development - Talking about their homes and what they look like, also their likes and dislikes.
Literacy - Extending word knowledge by introducing new words when using soapy water. Wet, dry, clean & dirty words used.
Mathematics - Counting using different equipment such as steps to the climbing, how may kicks to get the ball in the goal and how many times they can cycle the bikes around the court yard.
Understanding the World - Leaning how fruit and vegetable grow, trying different fruits and making their own milkshake by bleeding fruit with milk.
Expressive Arts and Design - Being creative with liquids, how colours change when using milk and food colouring (mixed the together) by filling , pouring in cups and using funnels & tubes.
