The last month of term has been an exciting one, the nursery children have taken part in group activities throughout July including  : 

• Physical development – Gross Motor Skills - Children playing tennis and taking part in their own Wimbledon tournament.
• The Natural World - Watching caterpillars grow into butterflies and releasing them into the garden.
• Mathematics - Learning the difference between size, little caterpillars growing into big caterpillars.
• Expressive Art & Design - Explaining textures - Painting caterpillars using sponges and finding green pipe cleaner caterpillars in the sand.
• Personal, Social& Emotional Development - Building relations & Managing Self - The children spoke about their transition to new schools and new rooms in September, looking at school logos and even tried to make our own, wearing new school jumpers and visiting  new schools.
